Swedish Meatballs
(will feed 1-2 medium hungry Ridgebacks)
Ingredients: 500 g minced meat, 1 dl brown dried bread crumbs, 2-3 dl cream, 1 teaspoonful salt, 1-2 eggs, white or black pepper.
- put the bread crumbs in a bowl, add half of the cream and stir, let it swell 10 min - add minced meat and salt, mix thoroughly - add the egg and, if needed, the rest of the liquid to achieve the proper consistency - flavour the mix with spices - form meat balls - fry on medium heat in lots of butter - let the meatballs chill and serve with fresh water.
